Concannon Cabernet Sauvignon (2008)

A very wintry Monday night in Michigan. We had lots of snow last night followed by sleet and now more snow. Very pretty, actually! I chose this Concannon California Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 to go with our dinner of cube steak casserole, which was delicious.

I like this medium-bodied wine, which Tom bought recently for $7 in our local grocery store. Very cherry on the palate.  A bit of vanilla and a lot of oak on the finish. California knows Cabs. . .
