Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

We had this Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Private Selection 2009 with steak from our local farmer.

Very nice. Tannic, medium-bodied. Fruit tastes are more red (like cherries) than dark. Very drinkable. The tannins and red fruit taste went very well with the steak.

Things are very busy for us these days. Glad to have a nice dinner and a good wine with it.

(Here’s another shout-out to pal Steve Bono, faithful reader, senior-housing scout, and red-wine guy. We’ll have a pie cooling on the window sill for him when he gets out here some day…)
