Rancho Eleora Cabernet Sauvignon (2005)

Yummy, this is delicious. We just returned from a trip up north to Traverse City to see my parents, Bill & Delight. We had a lovely weekend. Now we are home and I have brown rice simmering and I will stir-fry chicken and broccoli to mix in with the rice. This wine is a lovely violet color.  The nose is cigar box, peppercorns, vanilla and raspberry. On the palate is a graceful, dry and medium bodied quaff with plum and cocoa flavors with a toasty wood finish.

I love this wine and I think you would like it, too!

  1. Tim Says:

Rich purple color with aromas of plum, berries, pepper and a hint of earth. The flavor is as rich as the color with overtones of raspberry, spices, a touch of vanilla and slight hint of oak. It lends itself to a long finish well balanced with tannins and acidity. This is wonderful with a filet mignon & oven roasted baby carrots.
