This Catena Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 from Argentina is a treat: very, very tannic and also with big dark fruit. The big-fruit taste makes it very drinkable, but the tannins keep it from being a fruit bomb.
We got this on sale at A&L Wine Castle in Ann Arbor. It’s listed at $22.99; we got it on sale, but it’s still above our usual price. But it certainly tastes worth it.
Melody is frying a steak for dinner and this Catena will go beautifully with it.
